What are the Qualifications to Drive with ABC?
All highly qualified applicants go through a thorough hiring process, which includes:
- In-person interview
- Drug Test
- PA Child Abuse Clearance and Act 126 Training
- PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
- FBI Criminal History Clearance
- Motor vehicle record check
- Reference checks
What training programs do you have in place for drivers?
Once employed, drivers are thoroughly trained by ABC Transit, Inc.
While training to obtain a commercial driver’s license, new hires receive a minimum of 15 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of on-the-road training.
Once certified, all drivers are required to complete pre- and post-trip inspections, recertification training, safety programs, and random drug testing.
